Liu (Stephen Fung) is on death row for a murder he swears he didn’t commit. Chinese folklore says a soul wanders the earth for 49 days before its final judgment. Together with his lawyer (Gilian Chung), Liu races against that deadline, seeking to contact the lingering spirits in hopes that supernatural proof will exonerate him before the execution.
