The ending of Yoh! Bestie brings its romantic entanglements to a heartfelt conclusion, centered on the long-awaited reunion between Thando and Charles. After Charles returns from New York with a fiancée, Rea, Thando struggles with her unspoken feelings. Though she initially considers sabotage, she chooses integrity after reading Rea's autobiography and getting to know her rival. However, Rea is no villain—she recognizes the deep bond between Charles and Thando and ultimately decides to leave Charles before the wedding, acknowledging that she cannot compete with their connection.
While the main wedding is called off, a surprising proposal emerges from the chaos. Thando's friend Riri, who arrives determined to disrupt the ceremony, ends up receiving a proposal from her boyfriend Bheki. In a quiet moment amidst the abandoned wedding setup, Bheki finally finds his perfect moment and asks Riri to marry him. She accepts, later asking Thando to be her maid of honor, offering a sweet parallel romance to the main story.
