The film showcases classic, kinetic action as two roguish thieves continually find themselves in and out of danger, relying on their kung‑fu skills to escape. While Yuen’s choreography has not yet reached the stylized flair of his later work, the brisk pacing and raw intensity hint at the mastery he would later achieve.
