Winnetou and the Crossbreed

Winnetou reveals the gold mine location to free Apanatschi's little brother Happy, who was kidnapped by Curly Bill. The bandits threatened to harm the boy unless Winnetou disclosed the mine's location. This sacrifice was necessary to save the child's life, even though it gave the bandits access to the gold.

After retaking the town from Curly Bill's gang, the railroad workers anticipate that the bandits will return once they learn about the gold. The dynamite traps are set as a defensive measure to ambush the bandits when they come back, giving the workers a decisive advantage in the final battle.

After the bandits successfully loot the gold mine, Curly Bill's right-hand man Judge stages a coup and disposes of his boss. Judge takes command of the gang, making him the new leader. This internal betrayal shifts the power dynamic among the bandits.

After being freed during the railroad workers' counterattack on the town, Apanatschi is sent to live with the Kiowa tribe for her safety. The tribe provides protection from the bandits who still pose a threat, and it also aligns with her mixed heritage as her mother was likely Kiowa.

Pincky and Sloan inform Curly Bill about the gold mine after learning of its existence from Mac. Realizing that Apanatschi also knows the mine's location, the bandits raid the railroad camp to capture her and force her to reveal the gold's exact location.

Pincky and Sloan coerce Mac Haller into guiding them to the gold mine by threatening his life. However, to prevent him from ever revealing their crime or reclaiming the mine, they kill Mac during the journey. His murder avenges the theft and removes the only other person who knows the mine's location.

After Apanatschi is kidnapped and the bandits are distracted with the gold, the railroad workers launch a coordinated assault on the town. They successfully defeat the reduced bandit force, free Apanatschi, and reclaim control. This counterattack marks a turning point in the conflict.

Jeff Brown is one of the railroad workers who helps free Apanatschi from the bandits and fights alongside her during the conflict. By the end of the movie, they have developed a relationship, and she chooses to marry him as part of building a new life in the community after the victory.

After Winnetou reveals the mine's location, Curly Bill's gang exploits the gold deposit and hauls sacks of gold back to town. Under Judge's new leadership, they return confident from their wealth, unaware that the railroad workers have prepared dynamite traps waiting for them.

The Kiowa tribe joins forces with the railroad workers for the final confrontation in town. Their combined strength helps defeat Curly Bill's gang, turning the tide of battle and ensuring victory over the bandits who had previously kidnapped Happy from their tribe.
