The series is presented as broadcasts from a fictitious pirate TV station based in a narrow‑minded East‑Flanders village. A handful of VJs host sketches masquerading as news or human‑interest pieces, often tied together by a framing storyline. The deliberately amateur look, recurring characters, catchphrases and occasional topical jokes—like a baby found at a railway station—highlight its self‑aware, tongue‑in‑cheek humor.
