The documentary examines why the United States entered the Korean War, tracing Soviet ambitions and the denial of free elections in Korea. It shows Soviet‑backed North Korean troops invading South Korea on 25 June 1950, the United Nations’ response, and the ensuing battles against North Korean and later Chinese forces led by General Douglas MacArthur. Preserved by the Academy Film Archive with Twentieth Century Fox in 2005.
