Born in East Berlin shortly after the opening of the first McDonald’s, Angela grapples with a sense of disillusionment, feeling like she arrived too late for meaningful political change. Coming from a family of activists, she witnesses her sister embrace the world of business while her mother leaves her political struggles behind to seek solitude in the countryside. Angela’s journey explores the challenges of finding purpose and identity in a generation marked by political stagnation.
