Arrogant, wise‑cracking Brice Wayne enrolls at the United States Military Academy at West Point, believing “field maneuvers” are a petting party. He adapts to plebe life, makes the freshman football squad, outplays the varsity and clashes with upperclassman Bob Sperry. Meanwhile, local girl Betty Channing becomes his supporter.
