The story follows Thenavan, a man who consistently rejects the women chosen for him by his mother, including Sheila. Sheila, often overlooked due to her appearance, unexpectedly falls for Thenavan's gentle nature. His repeated rejections stem from his unresolved feelings for Kalyani, a former school love. When Kalyani returns home, a series of events unfold, including a stolen handbag, and Thenavan offers assistance. A requested conversation between them reveals a complex web of relationships, including the presence of Kalyani's former lover, Sathya, creating a pivotal moment for all involved.
