Marc Chanois, a middle‑aged insurance adviser, faces the most crucial day of his life. It’s his fiancée Sabine’s birthday, her parents are arriving in Paris for a dinner where he plans to propose, he has bought her a Spitfire, and his biggest client must sign a policy. As the day unfolds, an inept secretary, the sudden return of an ex‑girlfriend, overnight squatters in his office, a jealous ex‑lover of a building flight attendant, and his boss’s abrupt comeback from a Swiss clinic threaten to ruin everything.
