Mayu discovers a mysterious camera drifting in the sea while on vacation. The undeveloped film contains a photo of herself with an unknown man, yet the device won’t exist for another two years. The camera propels her into a pendulum‑like journey through past and future. In a parallel story, a down‑on‑his‑luck detective takes a surveillance job watching a man and a little girl, only to see aircraft overhead transform into enormous imperial carp, forcing him to confront a reality that no longer follows ordinary rules.
