Produced to commemorate the book’s 50th anniversary, the movie portrays Wurmbrand's experiences through live action, rather than interviews. Filmed entirely in Romania, including the prison where he faced torture and solitary confinement, the dialogue is presented in English, Romanian, and Russian with English subtitles to reflect the authenticity of this true story.
