In 1897, the notorious “Poisoned Knife” clan infiltrated Thailand’s royal palace to seize the Royal Antiques the king intended to present to America as gratitude for diplomatic aid that preserved Thai territory. They succeeded, but all were killed. Before dying, they hid the treasures near the palace; the last bandit, interrogated by Master Sawang, chose suicide with Sawang’s sword, taking the hidden cache’s location to his grave.
