The Monster

Loris works as a part-time mannequin handler at a department store and lives in a building where he hasn't paid rent for months. He also owes money to various people around town, foreshadowing financial pressure. He hopes to learn Chinese in order to get an assistant manager position.

At a party, he learns of a nymphomaniac who will sleep with anyone. He approaches the wrong woman, who flees and alerts the police. This event marks him as a suspect due to his odd behavior.

The chief of police, frustrated by lack of solid evidence, decides to provoke Loris's passion to catch him red-handed. The plan sets the stage for an undercover operation and entrapment.

Jessica, an attractive police officer, goes undercover as Loris's roommate to observe him. She is directed by the chief and Paride to dress provocatively to lure him.

Jessica moves in and Paride visits under the pretext of fitting Loris for a suit, performing medical tests while Loris remains clueless. The deception deepens as Loris is unaware of the real reason behind the setup.

Loris goes to interview at the Chinese company. His teacher gives him a little Chinese good luck charm, which Jessica notices. The charm later connects to his instructor in the investigation.

Loris bombs the interview, unable to answer the first question: to tell his name. The failure highlights his social awkwardness and undermines the investigators' hopes of a quick capture.

Paride delivers a Little Red Riding Hood costume to Jessica and orders her to use it to unleash Loris's erotic urges. Jessica dresses as instructed but Loris remains unmoved, undermining the plan and prolonging the pursuit.

Back at the police station they learn the killer has struck again. At the crime scene, Jessica finds the good luck charm and links it to Loris's Chinese instructor, turning the case toward a new lead.

Jessica goes to the instructor's house, where she discovers both Loris and the instructor. She coordinates a plan to secure Loris's release and redirect the real killer toward a squad car.

She instructs a uniformed officer to release Loris and then directs the real killer toward a squad car, bringing the case to a resolution. The tension of the pursuit culminates in a controlled handoff.

The film closes with Loris and Jessica sharing a kiss and walking off into sunset, signaling the end of the case and a possible romance. Their bond hints at a new chapter beyond the investigation.
