In 1960, Professor Ruckus Mandulbaum created the Titan badge, granting ordinary people extraordinary abilities. He formed a superhero team with three young people, transforming them into a celebrated family. Years later, the team disbanded, and the Professor replaced the original members with a new generation of teen superheroes. In 1979, two of the original heroes, now adults, seek to reclaim their Titan badges, leading them to raid the Professor’s museum and inadvertently taking hostages.
