Tosya Kislitsyna, a recent graduate of a culinary technical school, arrives in a remote northern‑forest village. Naïve and eccentric, she immediately involves herself in everyone’s affairs, trying to help. On her first day she meets Ilya, the village’s self‑proclaimed “first guy,” whose cold response to her invitation to dance sparks a rivalry with his friend Filya, who bets Ilya will fall for Tosya within a week.
