A group of friends debates their summer plans. One intends to travel to the Seychelles with his American girlfriend, but she abandons him at the airport for another man. Broke, he steals a backpack and takes to camping, where he meets an attractive girl and persuades her to share his tent. Their idyll is shattered when a famous singer spots the girl, courts her, and tricks the hapless guy into looking foolish, leading her to leave with the singer for the French Riviera.
