Narrated by a partridge, this animated short explains the carol. Sir Carolboomer, enamored with Princess Silverbell, steals what he thinks is her wish list—really the king’s crossword answers. He sends Hollyberry to gather gifts, from a partridge to eight maids and four calling birds; days later the princess chooses Hollyberry over Carolboomer.
