In 1537 London, a royal heir and a poor street youth who look identical cross paths and, on a whim, trade places. Their brief swap leads to a series of misadventures through the city and royal court. Ultimately the prince restores his true identity and, grateful for the experience, adopts the boy as a ward of the court.
