In the summer of 2014, Bernard Jordan makes headlines worldwide when he stages a daring escape from the care home where he lives. The film follows Bernie’s 48‑hour journey, exploring his struggle to reconcile lifelong war trauma while also honoring the steadfast love of his 60‑year marriage, as his wife Rene courageously supports his quest.
