Evoking Fellini’s surreal style, this French‑Canadian fantasy follows a 1960s romance between filmmaker Rex Prince and a bearded circus lady. It opens with a projectionist telling Rex a ghost haunts his film, then flashes back to Rex’s early career—his Marxist debut on Montreal poverty, editor Edouard Dore, and a night at a carnival where he meets Le Grand Zenon, a one‑eyed performer who projects images with his eye.
