History

Set against the backdrop of World II, the drama follows Jewish teenager Sara as her family is confined to the Amsterdam ghetto and subsequently arrested and deported. Sara flees with her brother and his girlfriend, journeying to a refuge in Palestine. The film is an adaptation of Marga Minco’s autobiographical novel.
