When Quoc Anh finally reaches his breaking point, he walks out of the house he shares with Quynh Anh. Her constant doubts—fuelled by a meddlesome uncle, a domineering mother, and the fake tarot readings of her friend Kieu’s boyfriend—push Quoc into a corner. The catalyst is a misunderstanding with Karen, a striking yet manipulative client who deliberately inserts herself into Quoc’s life, using her associate Jessica to feed him false information and even hiring thugs to intimidate him. When Quynh Anh catches a glimpse of Karen at their villa and, convinced of infidelity, violently confronts her, the trust between the couple shatters completely.
