In the climax of Tehran, Rajiv Kumar finally reaches the Iranian capital alone after his team is shattered—Divya is killed in an ambush and Vijay, too shaken, stays behind. He is taken in by Tamir, a grieving father who offers the only safe haven Rajiv can find. The two men forge a brief but intense bond, each driven by personal loss from the same wave of terror.
Together they trace Afsar Hosseini’s right‑hand man, Syed Ali, to a hidden safe house. When they capture Syed, Afsar’s men launch a furious pursuit, and Tamir is mortally wounded while protecting Rajiv. In the ensuing struggle Rajiv discovers a GPS tracker on Syed that reveals Afsar’s betrayal of his own operative. With the safe house surrounded, Rajiv overpowers the attackers and comes face‑to‑face with Afsar.
Instead of pulling the trigger himself, Rajiv passes his gun to the now‑captured Syed, allowing the betrayed lieutenant to exact the final revenge. Afsar falls, his own machinations catching up to him just as the Iranian authorities, who also want him dead for an earlier assassination in the UK, close in. The mission ends with Afsar’s death at the hands of his own associate, delivering the poetic justice Rajiv had sought.
The Indian officials, having monitored the operation, quickly arrange for Rajiv’s extraction. He returns home, reuniting with his family as the film’s voice‑over reveals that the Iranian‑Indian gas deal collapses, but the ruthless message sent by Rajiv ensures that no further attacks on Indian soil have occurred since 2012. The ending ties the personal vendettas, geopolitical stakes, and Rajiv’s unwavering code of conduct into a decisive, albeit bittersweet, resolution.
