Technoboys (2024) Plot Summary & Ending Explained

The ending of Technoboys reveals that the story is really about self-acceptance, the destructive power of jealousy, and the importance of staying true to oneself. As the band reunites, it’s clear that their old dynamic has changed; members have grown in different directions and no longer bear the same resemblance to their former selves. Alan, who is desperately holding onto the past, is revealed to be motivated less by a genuine love for music and more by his lingering obsession with Melena, the woman who broke his heart years ago when she married the band's former CEO, Masiosare. His efforts to revive the band and reclaim fame are fueled by this unresolved love and his desire to gain Melena’s attention again.

The plot takes a dark turn when Alan, heavily intoxicated and enraged after discovering Melena’s affair with Number Juan, decides to confront them. This culminates in him attempting to drive recklessly in a fit of rage, which leads to a car accident and the viral news coverage that falsely portrays him as a murderer. It’s only later that the band and his grandmother help him realize that he cannot love himself if he keeps clinging to past hurts and envies others’ happiness. The grandmother’s wisdom emphasizes that the real issue is Alan’s inability to accept himself and his current life. Meanwhile, Jay, a young fan, is revealed to have been manipulated and used by Masiosare, who was always jealous of Alan and orchestrated the chaos to destroy him. Jay’s confession of trying to kill Number Juan is a pivotal moment that unveils the conspiracy behind the chaos, showing that the entire scheme was driven by Masiosare’s envy and malice.
