A wildly absurd Swedish farce centered on King Gustav, played entirely by Per Oscarsson. While the monarchs of France, England and Germany linger on the sidelines, each hoping to out‑maneuver the clueless ruler. Gustav’s blunders barely spare him the crown, prompting the three powers to invade Sweden in a chaotic bid for conquest.
