Sharanya Vasudevan leaves her quiet Palakkad town to pursue engineering in Thrissur, stepping into a new city rhythm and a bustling campus that feels far from what she’s used to. In a shared dorm, she meets her roommates, Sona Thomas, Sherin, and Devika, each bringing a different energy to the frame of her life. Sharanya wrestles with anxiety and insecurity, a constant tension that makes every new social cue feel like a small ordeal. The college world presents its own pressures—from the harsh ritual of ragging to the uneasy fight to fit in—yet she clings to small pleasures: meals together, occasional outings, and the quiet moments that anchor her days.

On the social horizon, Sharanya attracts attention from several men, including the older, intense Ajith Menon, a senior who is both feared and relentless, and a blunt, capricious professor named Arun Raj who seems determined to push her boundaries. A shy classmate, Sangeeth, becomes a tentative friend rather than a romantic rival, and Sharanya tries to preserve that platonic line even as other relationships push in. In the mounting tension, Ajith makes a drastic move, confronting her with a marriage proposal and forcing Sharanya to ask for time—six months—as a way to buy space and clarity. Meanwhile, the professor’s bold, inappropriate advance arrives mid‑assignment, and Sharanya makes it clear that such overt coercion is unethical and unacceptable. Arun’s response is to discipline her work with a harsher hand, turning the academic environment into another arena of stress.

A chance encounter changes the texture of Sharanya’s world. During a day out in Ernakulam, she and her friends literally collide with a young man named Deepu. Deepu is immediately drawn to her, and what begins as a wary exchange gradually blooms into a digital connection—Deepu finds Sharanya through Instagram hashtags and sends a friend request that opens a corridor of conversation and curiosity. Deepu’s circle expands beyond him: his friend Varun and his brother‑in‑law Abhilash Aliyan run a fried foods business, a small but sturdy backdrop to the personal drama unfolding. Sharanya starts to see a different future reflected back at her, a future where she can listen to her own feelings and choose for herself. Sona, who has taken on the role of protector and guardian, remains wary, urging caution and reminding Sharanya to guard her heart, but Sharanya’s own heart grows louder with each message and encounter.

The relationship deepens as Sharanya and Deepu meet again at a family wedding, and she accepts his proposal, marking a turning point in her self‑confidence. Yet the road remains tense: Ajith, impatient for a verdict, lashes out and physically harms Sangeeth, whom he mistakes for the obstacle to Sharanya’s decision. During a lab exam, Arun Raj’s antagonism escalates to a dangerous glare, and he is accidentally electrocuted in a misguided attempt to disrupt Sharanya’s progress. Deepu’s murky past surfaces, and he proves willing to respond with force to extricate Sharanya from a threatening situation. In the end, Deepu’s intervention helps remove the immediate threat from Ajith, clearing the space for Sharanya to move forward with greater autonomy.

As the dust settles, Sharanya’s inner voice grows louder and more assured. She begins to navigate her life with a newly found sense of agency, choosing Deepu and learning to defend that choice even when it means pushing back against Sona’s protective stance. The film then charts her gradual transformation from a reserved, anxious student into a person who can articulate her boundaries, make difficult decisions, and stand up for her own happiness while navigating the complexities of college life, friendships, and romance.
