A clownish security chief at a West German firm becomes fixated on safeguarding his factory from imagined and real threats, especially attacks from groups like the Red Army Faction. His paranoid, sympathetically drawn tactics soon spiral beyond the company’s control, echoing the cynical alliance of fascism and big business in 1930s Europe, offering a sharp satire on the rise of private security.
