The series follows the 1973 hunt for the killer of three young women in Port Talbot, then recounts how, nearly three decades later, pioneering DNA testing finally solved the case – the first time such evidence broke a cold‑case. By juxtaposing 1970s police methods with early‑2000s forensic breakthroughs, it shows a community still grappling with the tragedy and asks whether true justice can ever be achieved.
