Snow Falls

A group of friends arrives at a remote cabin in Snow Falls to celebrate New Year's Eve. They intend to stay only overnight, seeking warmth and companionship. The isolated setting hints at the danger to come as they settle in for the night.

A sudden winter storm traps them inside and knocks out the cabin's power. They scramble to light candles and stay warm, realizing their situation is more serious than expected.

With the power out and days passing, Eden, who studies medicine, urges the group to ration supplies and bundle up. She emphasizes staying awake to avoid hypothermia, while fear and fatigue begin to wear them down. The others reluctantly follow as the situation grows grimmer.

The prolonged exposure and dwindling resources spark hallucinatory fear. River and Em start to believe the snow outside is poisoned, convincing themselves that they are all infected by merely having been exposed.

To prevent the imagined sickness from spreading, River empties gasoline from their vehicle, removing any chance of escape. The group becomes more isolated as the storm rages on and options dwindle.

Delirious and fearful, Em leaves the warmth and later returns with a shard of a broken mirror, cutting into her stomach in a misguided attempt to purge the sickness. She survives the injury, but the act underscores the fragility of everyone left inside.

Andy begins chopping the cabin's furniture for firewood to help warm Em, despite River's warnings about damaging the antiques. A violent fight erupts and River accidentally kills Andy by hitting his head.

With the situation collapsing, Kit volunteers to venture into the storm to find help for the group. The decision underscores the growing despair and the dwindling odds of rescue.

Delirious Em attempts to check the car's fuel in the freezing air and dies of exposure shortly after entering it. Her death adds another crushing blow as hope fades.

Shortly after leaving to seek help, Kit dies of exposure, their disappearance amplifying the group's sense of isolation and desperation.

River experiences a hallucinatory vision of Eden seducing him, which leads to a stripping episode and a fatal cold shower. The delirium proves deadly, and he dies in the cabin.

As Eden discovers River's body, the cabin's power suddenly returns, revealing how close they were to salvation. She waits outside as emergency services arrive and the grim ordeal ends.
