In a Brazilian coastal city, Kai, recently heartbroken and traveling from Taiwan, finds herself drawn into a series of unexpected encounters. A malfunctioning air conditioner leads her to Fu Ang’s umbrella shop, where a potential friendship begins. However, the rainy season never arrives, and Fu Ang’s shop mysteriously vanishes. While searching for him, Kai uncovers the story of Xiaoxin and a group of Chinese laborers working in a luxurious skyscraper. Through Xiaoxin's experiences, Kai finds a poignant reflection of her own journey.
