A Filipino farmhand woman confides intimate thoughts to a man in a church confessional, engaging in a roleplay reverie. Her words are sensuous, directed at her white American lover, a relationship challenged by the era's laws. The confessional becomes a portal, transporting them to alternate futures where they can love freely, creating a romantic and melancholic journey through time and identity.
