Set in a timeless and undefined place, this allegory draws inspiration from Gabriel Garcia Marquez’s magic realism. A soldier mysteriously returns from the dead to a coastal village and reflects on the years lost, creating a gulf between his past and the present. The narrative explores the lives of a diverse group of individuals, including a musical band, a man held captive in a dilapidated stable, and the soldier's sister, who is also his lover and mourns his absence. It’s a dreamlike portrayal of interconnected lives within imagined settings, layered with social and political undertones.
