Roland and Rattfink are cartoon movie stars. When Rattfink tires of being the defeated villain opposite Roland, he begs his father—the studio’s producer—to make him a hero. The studio complies, making Roland his stunt double, but the stunts backfire on Rattfink. Unsatisfied, he demands films, takes the lead as General Custard, and hurls Oscars at his dad.
