Thangalakshmi, a wealthy woman, arranges her daughter Abhinaya's marriage with an NRI in her native village. She plans to secure her daughter's future through this alliance while ensuring the wedding preparations are underway. Meanwhile, the gang led by Paalpandi begins to stalk and threaten Abhi and Thangalakshmi.

Paalpandi, who is actually Thangalakshmi's brother, makes numerous attempts to persuade Thangalakshmi to marry Abhi to his son instead. His insistence creates tension, but Thangalakshmi remains firm on her original plan for the NRI groom. The conflict introduces the underlying familial rivalry.

The stepfather and cousins of Kamaraj, claiming innocence in his murder, are released from jail. They go on to kill the judge and prosecutor responsible for their imprisonment, and manipulate Thangalakshmi into believing Paalpandi is the real murderer. Their actions escalate the familial and legal chaos.

Kathhi, a money-driven rogue, is appointed as Abhi's bodyguard for her safety until her marriage. His role involves trying to protect her from threats while also navigating humorous attempts by Mani and Thangalakshmi's relatives to disrupt the wedding. Kathhi's presence introduces comic tension.

Kamaraj’s relatives kidnap the groom, attempting to kill him and blame Paalpandi for the crime. Kathhi intervenes, fighting off the goons and rescuing the groom, who then refuses to marry Abhi, honoring his parents’ wishes. The groom’s refusal blocks the wedding.

Thangalakshmi refuses to let Paalpandi control the situation and forces Abhi and Kathi to marry. During the ceremony, Thangalakshmi mocks Paalpandi, claiming she has fulfilled her oath. Paalpandi reveals that Kathhi is actually his son, Kathiresan MBA, shocking everyone.

Abhi and Thangalakshmi try to press charges of kidnapping and criminal intimidation against Kathiresan, but he evades conviction by showing a video recording of the marriage hall event. This strengthens Kathiresan’s position and escalates the conflict.

Fearing for their safety, Abhi and Thangalakshmi attempt to flee to Bangkok. However, Kathiresan challenges Thangalakshmi, forcing her to keep Abhi with his family for seven days, promising to try to engage with her physically without consent, testing her resolve.

Initially strained, Abhi begins to see the caring nature of Kathiresan and his family. Her relationship with her relatives improves as they demonstrate kindness and support, leading to her understanding Kathiresan’s innocence and genuine good nature.

Kamaraj’s relatives attempt to kill Thangalakshmi, but she manages to call Kathiresan for help. Kathiresan arrives just in time to rescue her, but he gets stabbed by the villains in the process. The fight culminates in Kathiresan killing the villains, protecting his family.

Paalpandi arrives and, seeing Thangalakshmi with her blood-stained knife and Kathiresan injured, initially believes her. However, Kathiresan, still conscious, fights back and defeats the villains in a thrilling showdown. This leads to the family's victory over the antagonists.

In the end, Thangalakshmi reunites with her family, and they celebrate their victory and safety. Kathiresan’s heroic actions and the family’s unity lead to a happy ending, with everyone living happily ever after. The story concludes on a positive note, restoring peace.
