During the Nazi occupation of Holland, a ruthless criminal sees an opportunity to profit from the suffering of Jewish citizens. He builds a criminal empire by exploiting their desperation for survival, using blackmail and elaborate schemes to gain wealth and power. Driven by ambition and a complete disregard for human decency, his actions create a dangerous and morally bankrupt world for those seeking refuge.
