Strange murders plague a deserted film studio, raising questions about the unusually high number of security personnel on duty. The bizarre truth lies with the Hobgoblins, cheaply made rubber puppets from outer space resembling Gremlins. These mischievous creatures have the power to grant wishes, but with deadly consequences. A new security guard named Kevin inadvertently releases them, and along with his friends, he must stop the Hobgoblins from unleashing chaos across the Greater Los Angeles area.
