Set seven years before the events of Re:ZERO, this story follows Emilia as she lives in a snowy, isolated forest alongside Puck. The forest harbors a mystery—the elves who once resided there are now frozen in ice. Feared by those living nearby, Emilia earns a modest living by selling magic stones and protecting them from magical creatures. Her quiet existence is shattered when the Great Spirit of Fire, Melakuera, arrives to pass judgment upon her.
