Raja Raja Chora

Bhaskar breaks into a house and steals valuables. He secretly works at a stationery store and manipulates customers, keeping his criminal acts hidden from others. To Sanjana, he presents himself as a software engineer, while the two dream of moving to Bangalore and buying their own house.

Bhaskar continues his facade by dressing as a software employee whenever he meets Sanjana, maintaining the illusion of a legitimate career. The couple plans their future relocation to Bangalore and a place of their own. The tension between his two lives grows as the lie becomes harder to sustain.

Bhaskar is secretly married to Vidya and they are estranged, with Vidya leveraging the situation via threats of a cheating case. She also pressures him to fund her education, keeping him bound to her demands. This creates a fragile balance as Bhaskar seeks a way out.

Sanjana discovers that Bhaskar has a child, shaking her trust in him. Bhaskar learns that Sanjana is not actually a software employee but a salesgirl, and he lies that he is a widower to preserve the lie. The discovery compounds Bhaskar's internal conflict and motivates him toward a final plan.

Fed up with living two lives, Bhaskar schemes one last heist to secure a future. He frequents Anjamma's workshop where he stores loot, and reluctantly dons a king costume at her insistence, believing the outfit will bring immense wealth. He prepares for a night that could change everything.

Bhaskar burgles Madhav's neighbour's house during the planned heist. Madhav returns early from a camp, and William goes to Madhav's house to escape discovery. Bhaskar, attempting to leave the scene, climbs over a wall into Madhav's house, and the three characters converge at the same moment.

William apprehends Bhaskar, but Vidya, being questioned about the affair, threatens to press charges if Bhaskar is not freed. William reluctantly releases Bhaskar, warning him to abandon theft for good. This marks a fragile truce and shifts power dynamics between them.

William devises a new plan to force Bhaskar to commit more robberies using the Raja costume and offers a cut in exchange for non-involvement of the police. Bhaskar agrees, hoping the extra money will allow him to buy a small house and move in with his wife and child.

Bhaskar tells William that wearing the Raja costume gives him confidence during the heists, and suggests he should use it to boost his own confidence. William later discovers Bhaskar's ongoing affair with Sanjana and attempts to expose Bhaskar to her, though Sanjana remains unconvinced.

Angered by the unfolding deceit, William informs Sanjana's mother about her salesgirl job and questions her future. Sanjana's mother questions the path she is on and takes Sanjana back to their hometown, severing the closer ties she had formed with Bhaskar.

Bhaskar is conned and loses the entire family savings intended for a new house. Vidya leaves him with their child as trust collapses, and Sanjana learns that Bhaskar's wife is alive, ending their relationship. The web of lies finally catches up with him.

Madhav and the police catch William, dressed in the Raja costume, red-handed with Buela. The police and media are convinced that William is the city’s thief, turning the public narrative on its head and clearing Bhaskar from the spotlight.

A famous preacher named Ganapathi frames the cheating and thefts as consequences of moral failings, condemning the selfish acts that harmed many. Bhaskar is imprisoned for his crimes, while others face their own punishments due to deception and infidelity.

Bhaskar decides to turn himself in to atone for his crimes, serving a prison sentence. Afterward, Vidya becomes a successful lawyer who owns a house, and a reformed Bhaskar is seen approaching Vidya, hopeful for reconciliation.
