Queens of the Dead

The survivors finally turn the tide when Dre uses her DJ set to lure the horde straight into the bar. While the undead shuffle in, she and Barry keep the doors open, buying the others a chance to fight their way out. Yasmine‑in‑full‑drag saves Dre at the last second by throwing smartphones at the stagger‑staring zombies, buying a few precious seconds.

Outside, the battered group—Sam, Liz ​(Dre’s pregnant wife), the trans patient Jane, and a battered but alive Nico—join up with the others. Poppy, who arrived earlier with her crew, is already dead, having been overwhelmed by a sudden rat swarm. Jimmy, Ginsy, and Tiger have also fallen, and Nico’s confidence has crumbled, but he manages to haul the food‑truck that was their promised escape vehicle.

With the truck in place, the remaining friends board a ferry bound for Staten Island, the promised safe haven. The final shot shows the ferry pulling away as the bar’s lights flicker behind them. The hopeful note is undercut by the unsettling sight that Nico is now a zombie, hinting that the nightmare may follow them onto the boat.
