In the small town of El Paris, ten‑year‑old Quasimodo is born with a noticeable deformity. His affluent parents entrust his care to the enigmatic evangelist Frollo, and in exchange they adopt Esmeralda, a Cuban girl from a lower‑class background. A decade later, a serial killer stalks El Paris, and Quasimodo becomes the chief suspect.
