A six‑minute 1949 short by avant‑garde filmmaker Kenneth Anger, born from his abandoned project Puce Women. The camera lingers on 1920s flapper gowns being lifted from a rack and dancing to music. Originally scored with Verdi opera, Anger later added a psychedelic folk‑rock soundtrack by Jonathan Halper. Yvonne Marquis dons a purple puce dress, applies perfume at a vanity, then reclines on a chaise that glides around the room and out onto a patio, where borzois appear as she readies them for a walk.
