In a remote cabin, Little Man lives with his trapper father, older sister Missy and feral younger sister Kid, who spends most of her time under the table and can mimic any animal sound. Their mother is dead. While the father is away, Missy teases Kid, gets bitten, and the angry father returns. Kid runs into the night with her imagined animal friends, while Little Man whispers about loss and emptiness.
