In the final act, Pete finally pieces together the horror hidden beneath the storage unit. While cleaning the blood‑soaked floor after Dr. Young’s death, he notices a crack that leads to a shallow burial pit. As he scrapes away the concrete, rows of skeletal remains emerge, confirming that the building has been a graveyard for previous victims. At the same time, Tyler, now completely under the control of the malevolent spirit that once possessed a boy named Michael Gibbons, lures Father Mann into unit 105 and shuts the door behind him.

Father Mann frantically recites the exorcism rite, but the possessed Tyler blocks his attempts to intervene. Desperate, Pete forces the door open enough to slip a bolt cutter through, severing the priest’s ankle in a brutal effort to free his son. The blade, however, swings back and crushes Father Mann’s skull, killing him. The scene ends with police arriving, finding the bodies of Dr. Young and Father Mann, and placing Pete under arrest for the murders. As he is led away, the camera lingers on Tyler—his eyes void of humanity, his mouth twisted into a chilling, satanic grin—leaving the audience with the unmistakable impression that the possession of Michael Gibbons remains intact, and the nightmare is far from over.
