Following a single protagonist at three stages—teenage years, age 28, and age 38—the film intertwines personal growth with India’s LGBTQ+ milestones. The teenage segment unfolds during Kolkata’s inaugural gay pride parade in 1999, the 28‑year‑old period aligns with the 2009 Delhi High Court decriminalization, and the 38‑year‑old chapter occurs in 2019, a year after the Supreme Court’s nationwide repeal of the anti‑gay law.
