Georges Nail, a suburban family man devoted to his wife, son and dog, meets the charismatic but disillusioned Paul Hammer, a handsome, wealthy intellect. While Nail hopes for friendship, Hammer sees the encounter as a chance to challenge the idealized Western male, viewing Nail as the perfect victim for his metaphorical hammer.
