Painted Woman

Adapted from Dusty Richard’s novel "Mustanger and the Lady," this story follows Julie Richards, a woman navigating a difficult life in the Old West. Passed between abusive situations and prostitution, she finds herself under the care of Kyle Allison, a wealthy and powerful man in Goldfield. While Allison provides for Julie, her life remains marked by further abuse. As circumstances lead to a dangerous turning point, she is presented with two opportunities for escape, each involving a different man, one in the town and one in the wilderness. The narrative unfolds in two distinct chapters that reflect each other.
