A lonely young woman lives under the strict rule of a father who forbids her to wear makeup. At a community ice‑cream social she catches the eye of a charming stranger who seems interested in her. Unbeknownst to her, he is a burglar planning to break into her father’s house. One night she awakens to a mysterious noise, hinting that his scheme may be underway.
