Paganini Horror

In La Casa di Sol, a young violinist practices a Paganini piece, establishing a supernatural mood. She then electrocutes her bathing mother with a hairdryer, shocking everyone and hinting at a deadly curse.

Daniel, the band's drummer, travels to meet Mr. Pickett and buys an unpublished Paganini score. He later demonstrates the new piece to Lavinia and Kate, and they agree to record it.

Lavinia proposes hiring the horror director Mark Singer to film the video, while Kate suggests shooting at La Casa di Sol. Lavinia also mentions she knows Sylvia, the house's current homeowner, linking the shoot to the residence's legends.

During the shoot, Sylvia recounts that Paganini once resided in the house and murdered his bride Antonia. This revelation foreshadows the terrifying events that will unfold during the recording.

Pickett travels to St Mark's Campanile, where he throws Daniel's money off the roof. He invokes Paganini's curse, unleashing a malevolent force that will haunt the crew.

Back inside the house, Rita is confronted by Paganini, whom she mistakes for Daniel in costume. With a single strike, he stabs her to death with a violin, and Rita's disappearance alarms the others.

Sylvia and Elena report Rita's vanishing while Lavinia pushes to replace her. Meanwhile, Daniel is lured by Rita to another room and is killed by Paganini, the killer wearing the familiar costume.

The ground suddenly opens beneath Kate, plunging her into a hidden chamber. Mark rushes to help, but is electrocuted and drags Kate further into danger.

Elena and Mark are forced out by deafening sounds, but their car hits an invisible barrier. Elena is ejected and the car, along with Mark, is engulfed in flames as the barrier seals them in.

Lavinia finds a tunnel in the hole and descends in search of Kate. Elena and Sylvia hear Lavinia's scream, yet Elena assumes the panic comes from upstairs, prompting Sylvia to investigate.

Sylvia hears ghostly violin music and sees Daniel outside in the courtyard, where he appears briefly before vanishing. Kate then appears in the empty courtyard pool, and they resolve to find the others.

The group reunites, but Elena is missing and later found dying, covered in blood. Lavinia notes fungus on Elena and explains it being linked to 18th century wood used for Stradivarius violins, hinting at the curse's mechanism.

Kate resolves that the curse can be lifted by using Paganini's piece as a weapon and plays it on her violin. However, the invisible barrier remains and their escape is still blocked.

Kate attempts to play the piece backwards, but the sheet music electrocutes Lavinia and bursts into flames. Paganini materializes, stabbing Sylvia as Kate is sealed inside an empty double bass case, and the sun's rise reduces him to dust, destroying the sheet music.

Kate leaves the house only to be confronted by Pickett, who explains that all visitors to the house are condemned to Hell. Sylvia reveals her own past murder, and Pickett vows vengeance as a new family arrives; he stabs Kate to death, sealing her fate.
