Following the death of his longtime friend, a man escapes to a remote farm in the Norwegian wilderness to live a solitary life. However, his carefully constructed peace is threatened when a former acquaintance unexpectedly appears, bringing with him echoes of a shared, traumatic past. The veteran must then confront long-buried secrets and the consequences of choices made decades earlier, forcing him to reckon with his history and the fragility of his newfound solitude.
